Technology for obtaining antibacterial phytoextracts from Ziziphora pedicellata
Main Article Content
Abstract
Ziziphora pedicellata is a valuable medicinal aromatic plant belonging to the Lamiaceae family, widely distributed in Central Asia. The species is rich in essential oils, flavonoids, phenolic compounds, and terpenoids, demonstrating significant antibacterial, antioxidant, and therapeutic properties. This study evaluates the technology of extraction of bioactive phytoextracts using various solvents and ultrasound-assisted extraction techniques, as well as their in vitro antibacterial efficacy against pathogenic bacteria including Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Optimal extraction parameters were determined to achieve high yield and antimicrobial potency.
