Antimicrobial activity of medicinal plant extracts and prospects for their application in microbiology
Main Article Content
Abstract
This thesis examines the antimicrobial effects of biologically active compounds found in medicinal plants, their possible mechanisms of action, and their prospects for application in microbiology. The study of the antibacterial properties of plant extracts is an important research area in the search for new biologically active substances against antibiotic-resistant microorganisms. In addition, changes in the antimicrobial activity of extracts depending on their chemical composition, preparation methods, and the types of microorganisms are discussed.
