Abstract
The article examines the relationship between emotional intelligence and social adaptation in preschool children. It is emphasized that the child's ability to understand and regulate his emotions, show empathy, and establish effective relationships with peers and adults is the most important condition for successful integration into the community. Developed emotional intelligence facilitates the process of social adaptation, reduces the level of anxiety and conflict, and helps to form positive behavior and self-confidence. The practical significance of the study lies in the need to introduce methods and technologies aimed at developing the emotional sphere of preschool children into pedagogical practice.
