Abstract

This thesis discusses the scientific and practical importance of studying the physicochemical properties and microbiological status of soils in arid areas of the Jizzakh region. Soil moisture, texture, humus content, pH and salinity are considered important factors affecting the abundance and activity of soil microorganisms. The work is based on a review of published literature and does not present original laboratory results.
