Получение и исследование высокоэффективных химически модифицированных сорбентов
Preparation and study of high-performance chemically modified sorbents
Main Article Content
Abstract
Chemical modification of bentonites has been found to be an effective approach for improving their sorption properties and enhancing their adsorption capacity toward various ionic forms of pollutants, including copper ions and phosphate ions. It has been demonstrated that modifying the chemical composition and structure of bentonite through the incorporation of modifying agents enables the targeted regulation of its physicochemical properties and expands its potential applications in aqueous solution treatment processes. Particular attention has been paid to the use of polycations as pillaring agents, which promote the formation of a more stable interlayer structure in the clay mineral. The incorporation of Cu²⁺ ions into the composition of the pillaring cation has been found to contribute to increased stability, which may positively affect the preservation of the structural and functional characteristics of the modified sorbent. The results obtained indicate that chemically modified bentonites are promising materials for the development of high-performance sorbents designed to remove heavy metal ions and phosphates from aqueous media.
