Abstract
The study analyzed the results of identifying pyogenic cocci isolated from purulent inflammatory processes using modern microbiological, proteomic and molecular genetic methods. The morphological characteristics of bacterial cultures were assessed using Gram staining, MALDI-TOF MS analysis, 16S rRNA gene sequencing and polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The nucleotide sequences obtained were compared using the NCBI BLAST database, and a phylogenetic analysis was performed. The results demonstrated the importance of the combined use of proteomic and molecular genetic methods for identifying bacterial isolates.
