Features of the spatial and ecological distribution of insects in the tomato agrocenosis of the Khorezm region
Main Article Content
Abstract
This thesis examines the spatial distribution, plant-organ associations, and ecological significance of insects in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) agrocenosis in Khorezm region. Field observations were conducted from 2023 to 2025 at the Davlat Rahmatulla and Yakubboy Zarifboy farms in Urgench district. A total of 28 insect species belonging to 9 orders were recorded. Differences in the distribution of phytophagous and entomophagous insects were observed in relation to agroecological conditions and plant developmental stages. The findings provide information for ecological monitoring and integrated pest management in tomato cultivation.
