Abstract

The article analyzes the formation of the income base of commercial banks and its impact on financial stability on a scientific basis. The author emphasizes that diversifying sources of income, balancing the ratio of interest and non-interest income, and increasing the effectiveness of interest rate policy are important factors in ensuring the efficiency of banking activities. The study analyzes international practice (on the example of the banking systems of the USA, Germany, Japan and the Republic of Korea) and substantiates the role of innovative financial services and investment operations in the structure of bank income.
