Abstract

This article aims to reveal the causes of stereotypes and misunderstandings that currently exist between countries. Due to the increasing level of communication between people, various misunderstandings arise between people, including people who are different representatives of their culture, which affects their interpersonal relationships by misinterpreting certain aspects of each other's communication. The effectiveness of communication is increasingly dependent on the cultural awareness, values, and worldview of individuals. The article examines the factors that form stereotypes, their impact on interpersonal relationships, and the linguistic and cultural differences that lead to misunderstandings. The importance of developing intercultural competence, empathy, and open-mindedness in solving problems is emphasized.
