SPEECH CULTURE AND MODERN YOUTH VOCABULARY

Abstract
This article analyzes the interrelation between speech culture and the vocabulary of
modern youth. It examines the communication style of today’s young people, innovations in their use of
linguistic units, and the influence of social networks on vocabulary. The emergence of new words,
abbreviations, and English borrowings in youth speech, as well as their impact on speech culture, are
discussed. The importance of adhering to speech culture norms and ways to promote them among young
people are also highlighted. The study results show that under the influence of modern technologies and
globalization, youth vocabulary is rapidly changing, which requires new approaches to shaping and
maintaining a high level of speech culture.
