Abstract

This article discusses ways to form practical knowledge and skills in students through experimental research in teaching the topic of infectious diseases in natural sciences, in particular biology education. Infectious diseases are an important biological problem that threatens human health. Therefore, not only a theoretical, but also a practical approach to teaching these topics plays an important role in students' deeper assimilation of knowledge. The experiments conducted in the article made it possible for students to understand the mechanism of infection spread, the functioning of the body's defense systems, and the need to comply with hygiene rules. The article analyzes scientifically effective ways to form a healthy lifestyle, hygienic culture, and scientific thinking in students through experimental research in teaching biology. The results of the study can be used to improve the educational process, increase biological literacy, and develop students' practical activities.
