ECOLOGICAL STATE, BIODIVERSITY, AND FISHING CAPACITY OF THE GREATER ANDIJAN CANAL

Abstract
This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the ecological state, biodiversity and fishing potential of the Greater Andijan Canal. During the study, the quality indicators of canal water, hydrobiological processes and the possibilities of using natural resources were studied. The stable hydrological regime of canal waters, the richness of the nutrient base and the presence of ecological balance create important natural conditions for the development of fishing. At the same time, under the influence of anthropogenic factors, water quality and the stability of biotopes are changing to a certain extent. The article presents scientific proposals for protecting the ecosystem of the Greater Andijan Canal, rational use of water resources and increasing fishing potential.
