Abstract
Reliable and lasting acquisition of reading material covered in foreign language classes
must be reinforced by independent work at home, because
homework is a direct means of reinforcing knowledge, skills,
mastery, and abilities, promoting independence in educational and cognitive activities, developing verbal skills, thinking, and qualities such as
hard work, discipline, responsibility, accuracy, organization, and self-control.
This thesis defines and indicates various approaches and methods that facilitate
homework completion, thereby enabling effective results from reading lessons.
