Abstract

This article analyzes the scientific and theoretical foundations and methodological methods of developing research competence of students studying at the master's level. Based on world experience, the content of international approaches such as the RSD (Research Skill Development) model, UNESCO Research Literacy Indicators and VALUE Rubrics is revealed. The study highlights the mechanisms for developing independent scientific thinking, working with sources and analytical assessment of results of master's students based on a combination of information-resource, reflective and interactive teaching methods. This approach is recommended as an effective methodological basis in the process of integrating the higher education system of Uzbekistan into the world scientific space.
