THE IMPACT OF HISTORICAL EVENTS AND INVENTIONS IN THE SCIENCE OF LOGOPEDIA ON MODERN SPEECH THERAPY

Abstract
This article covers the historical formation of the science of speech therapy, the impact of historical events, scientific discoveries, and modern technological inventions on it. Initially, it discusses the periods when speech therapy was not recognized as a separate science and insufficient attention was paid to speech disorders. Later, it is emphasized that as a result of the development of medical and psychological sciences, speech disorders began to be studied on a scientific basis, and special correction methods were developed. The scientific analysis of the current integration of speech therapy with modern technologies, artificial intelligence, neuroscience, and innovative approaches, as a result of which this direction has become a deeply studied field, is presented.
