Abstract

This article covers the content, principles and methodological foundations of corrective work aimed at the comprehensive development of the child's personality in the field of speech therapy. It emphasizes the need for speech therapy to be organized on the basis of a systematic, long-term and integrated approach in cases of speech underdevelopment, in particular, motor and sensory alalia. The study reveals the importance of harmonizing cognitive activity, perception, attention, thinking and manual motility in the process of speech development. Speech therapy works serve to develop the child's ability to communicate, express his thoughts, form grammatical structures and vocabulary. The article also substantiates the effectiveness of using game, rhythmic, logorhythmic, demonstrative and practical methods in speech development
