Abstract

This article analyzes Said Ahmad's story "The Crows Left Behind in Winter" from a psycholinguistic perspective. The speech of the characters in the work, the author's emotional position, linguistic means, and hidden meanings are studied. The study reveals the mental states expressed through language in the work, the influence of the social environment, and the relationship between speech and thinking.
