Abstract

The article discusses the poet and historian Muhammadumar - Umidiy and Havaoi, who wrote under the pseudonyms "Maktubchayi Khan" and "Tarihchayi Turaniy". These works, dedicated to the history of the Kokand khans, help to shed light on various periods of the history of the khanate. The historiography of the author Umidiy-Havaoi has not yet been specifically studied as an object of research.
