Abstract

This article examines the semantic, metaphorical, and functional characteristics of phraseological units related to the field of construction in English and Uzbek. It reveals how these units are used in social, cultural, and psychological contexts, in addition to the construction field. It also analyzes the translation problems of phraseological units and their equivalents in both languages.
