Abstract

In artistic creation, the author seeks new opportunities in language in order to describe specific processes taking place in himself or in the spiritual world of his characters, and he resorts to metaphors to ensure the realization of the artistic goal he has set. Because metaphors serve to provide greater expressiveness of speech. This article reveals the role of synesthetic metaphors realized through the phenomenon of oxymoron in creating strong incidental meanings.
