Abstract

This article analyzes the historical development and modern studies of the Central Asian region. The geopolitical, economic, ecological and cultural aspects of the region are studied, focusing on the inextricable link between historicity and modernity. The article considers the issues of regional security, sustainable development, integration and preservation of cultural heritage as topical areas.
