THE PROBLEM OF PRESERVING NATIONAL COLOR IN ARTISTIC TRANSLATION

Abstract
The art of translation has always been recognized as a complex and deep process that requires deep thought. In particular, the translation of works of art raises the issue of not only the correct and accurate transfer of linguistic means, but also the transmission of national consciousness, culture, traditions, psychology and folk mentality expressed in the text. In this sense, a translator is not an ordinary linguist, he is also a creator who can transfer a certain part of the life, thinking, and history of a nation into another language based on the text being translated. In the process of translation, preserving the national color, that is, the national spirit and diversity, in its original form, remains the most important and most difficult task.
