Main Article Content
Abstract
In every developed democratic society, the press, radio and television must have a certain impact on state policy and become an integral part of political processes. However, today we are witnessing the fact that the local press covers a very small part of readers, listeners and viewers and has a partial impact on the social life of our country. It is time to understand the role of public opinion and its reflection in the media in a new way. It is necessary to deeply analyze its influencing aspects of the progressive forces. Only on the basis of such an approach can one understand the possibilities of influencing public opinion by the mass media, learn to use the factors and conditions that gain authority in the political process, study public opinion on specific issues, call things by their names - this is what determines the true image of the press in a democratic society in the true sense of the word. It is precisely this process that determines the activities of the media today.
