Abstract
The article discusses the life, work and activities of the great son of the Uzbek people, a commander, statesman, poet and scientist Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur. It covers Babur's rise to the throne of Fergana from his youth, his political struggles in Transoxiana and Afghanistan, and his services in establishing the Babur Empire in India. The article separately analyzes Babur's work "Boburnoma" - this work is considered not only a historical source, but also one of the masterpieces of Uzbek literature. It reflects Babur's own life, people, and political events. The article reveals the work of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur in his time and his role as an exemplary figure for young people today.
