Abstract

This article discusses the administrative-territorial structure of the Kokand Khanate, its political and administrative system, as well as the number, composition and ethnic diversity of the population living in the territory of the khanate. The work analyzes the regions, districts belonging to the khanate and their forms of government based on historical sources. The population is also divided into nomadic and settled groups, and is considered in the context of their economic activity and social structure.
