Abstract

This article discusses the establishment of the education sector in Turkestan during the Russian Empire, in particular, the unique formation of the education sector in Namangan, the activities of Russian-style schools and traditional schools, the establishment of traditional girls' schools in Namangan, traditional girls' schools operating under mosques, and how the issue of education for girls was resolved in the early years of Soviet power, and the participation of Tatar teachers in these processes.
