Abstract
This article analyzes the phenomenon of intertextual connections and their aesthetic function in Uzbek fiction from a scientific perspective. The approaches of Bakhtin, Kristeva, and Jean Genette serve as a theoretical framework, and the role of intertextual elements in enriching the semantic layers of a text and deepening the reader's perception in both classical and modern literature is explored. Problems are identified, and their solutions are explained using practical examples based on scientific analysis. Thus, the article aims to define and evaluate the aesthetic function of intertextual connections in Uzbek fiction.
