DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN EDUCATION: THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES
Main Article Content
Abstract
Digital transformation has become one of the most important trends in the modern education system. The rapid development of information and communication technologies has fundamentally changed the ways in which knowledge is created, disseminated and acquired. Educational institutions around the world are widely introducing digital tools, online platforms and innovative teaching methods in order to improve the quality and accessibility of education. This article analyses the theoretical and methodological foundations of digital transformation in education. The study examines modern pedagogical approaches, digital learning environments and the role of technological innovation in improving educational outcomes. Particular attention is paid to the development of digital competencies among teachers and students. The article also addresses problems associated with digital education, including the digital divide, insufficient technical infrastructure and the limited professional training available to educators. The results of the study show that the effective implementation of digital transformation requires systematic pedagogical strategies, adequate infrastructure and the continuous professional development of teachers. Integrating digital technologies into education enables personalised learning, fosters collaboration and helps to build critical thinking and lifelong learning skills.
