Abstract
This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the
theoretical and methodological foundations of linguadidactics and the
role of the communicative approach in modern foreign language teaching.
The relationship between grammatical competence and speech
competence is recognized as one of the important methodological issues
within the linguadidactics approach, and the integrative nature of these
competencies in the process of language teaching is considered an
important factor in the formation of effective speech activity. In this
regard, the study highlights the advantages of the communicative
approach over traditional methods on the basis of a comparative analysis.
