FOLK TALES - AN IMPORTANT SOURCE IN THE STUDY OF LINGUOCULTURAL UNITS

Abstract
This article investigates the linguacultural
characteristics of uzbek folk tales. Linguistic units reflecting the national
worldview in folk tale texts, in particular, the connection of
numerological concepts, mythological images, and phraseological units
with the national mentality, analiyzed. During the research, it is
scientifically substantiated that the language of the folk tale is not just
an artistic tool, but a system that carries national-cultural codes.
Based on the material of Uzbek folk literature, the research
analyzes national and cultural concepts, symbolic images, fixed
expressions, proverbs, mythological representations, and value systems
within the framework of a linguocultural approach. The study provides a
scientific justification for considering fairy tale texts as a significant
source reflecting the inseparable relationship between language and
culture.
