Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the state of hygiene, sanitation, and epidemiology in the former Soviet Union, particularly in Uzbekistan, during the years 1930-1941. It examines the activities of hygienist doctors in combating infectious diseases and promoting cleanliness, based on archival materials and scientific literature. The study highlights the sanitary-epidemiological efforts undertaken to prevent and control diseases.
