Abstract

This article examines the role of artificial intelligence
(AI) in developing intercultural communication competence among
future English language teachers. Intercultural competence includes not
only language proficiency but also the ability to communicate effectively
and respectfully with people from different cultures.The study analyzes
AI-based virtual dialogues, role-play, and case-study methods and their
pedagogical effectiveness. The results show that these interactive
approaches enhance both language skills and intercultural competence.
