Abstract

The processes of globalization and rapid
digitalization are significantly influencing the development of the world's
languages. The decreasing number of native speakers of certain
languages has led to the gradual disappearance of many linguistic
communities. This article examines the issue of endangered languages,
the impact of digital technologies and the Internet on linguistic diversity,
and the potential role of artificial intelligence and modern digital
platforms in preserving minority languages. In addition, the cultural and
social consequences of the emergence of a single global language are
discussed.
