Abstract

Developing speaking skills is one of the most
challenging aspects of learning a foreign language, particularly for
English language learners (ELLs). This study explores innovative
strategies that can effectively enhance learners’ speaking abilities. The
research focuses on interactive methods such as task-based learning,
digital tools, role-playing activities, and collaborative learning
techniques. Data were collected through classroom observations and
student performance analysis. The findings indicate that the use of
modern, student-centered approaches significantly improves learners’
confidence, fluency, and communicative competence. These strategies
also increase motivation and engagement among learners.
