Abstract
In today’s educational landscape, digital technologies
play a central role in shaping teaching practices and learning outcomes.
Training future English teachers to competently manage digital
classrooms is critical for enhancing students’ language skills and digital
literacy. Despite the advantages of online and blended learning
platforms, pre-service teachers often encounter obstacles such as
insufficient familiarity with digital tools, difficulty in adapting
traditional teaching strategies to online formats, challenges in managing
virtual classrooms, and the need to implement effective digital
assessments. This study explores these challenges and suggests practical
approaches, including systematic technology training, emphasis on
online pedagogical methods, reflective practice, and collaborative
professional networks. Equipping teacher candidates with these skills
ensures that they are prepared to deliver engaging, effective, and
innovative English language instruction in digital learning
environments.
