Abstract

This article analyzes the scientific and theoretical
aspects of improving the effectiveness of teaching English in secondary
schools, specifically focusing on the development of students'
communicative speech competencies. The study highlights the factors
hindering the development of speaking skills and the role of modern
interactive methods in overcoming them. Furthermore, methodological
recommendations for organizing classroom activities based on a
communicative approach are provided
