Abstract
This article provides a theoretical analysis of the impact
of social media on youth life. The rapid development of information and
communication technologies has led to the formation of a virtual
environment that significantly affects young people’s worldview, social
activity, and psychological state. The paper examines both positive and
negative aspects of social media and proposes a model of “conscious social
media use.” The structural components and implementation mechanisms
of the model are discussed
