WORDS SENTENCES AND DICTIONARIES AS MEANINGFUL BUILDING-BLOCKS OF LANGUAGE AND THEIR ROLE IN LINGUISTIC COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
This article explores the role of words as fundamental
units of meaning in language, as well as their significance in sentences
and dictionaries. Words are analyzed as meaningful building-blocks of
language, with a focus on their semantic and grammatical properties.
The study highlights how understanding words, their structure, and
their contextual usage contributes to the development of learners’
linguistic competence. Additionally, the methodological importance of dictionaries and the analysis of the relationships between words and
sentences in language learning are discussed.
