Abstract

This article explores three important types of word
formation in modern English: compound words, blend words, and phrasal
verbs. It explains their structure, formation, and usage in everyday
communication. The study also includes real-life examples and a
comparative analysis of these word types. The results show that
compound words are common in formal contexts, blend words are widely
used in media, and phrasal verbs are essential for spoken English.
