Abstract
The 1950s–1980s are characterized by the active involvement of female teaching staff in the educational system of the Uzbek SSR in terms of quantity and quality. Within the framework of the gender equality policy declared by the Soviet state, women became one of the main performers in the field of education. In particular, the role of female teachers in the educational and upbringing process became important in increasing literacy and providing ideological education.
