Abstract
This article analyzes the contribution of the Jadid movement to
the development of science and enlightenment in Central Asia,
particularly in Turkestan. The article examines the historical
background of the Jadid movement, its role in reforming the educational
system, and the activities of new method schools. The activities of
prominent Jadid intellectuals such as Mahmud Khoja Behbudi, Abdulla
Avloni, and Munavvar Qori Abdurashidkhanov are also discussed.
