METHODS FOR FORMING STUDENTS’ ORIENTATION TOWARD NATIONAL VALUES THROUGH TEACHING CLASSICAL SONGS

Abstract
Today, educating the younger generation in a spirit of respect for national values and strengthening their sense of national identity is a pressing task. The article provides a scientific and pedagogical substantiation of the place and importance of classical songs in forming positive tendencies towards national values among pupils. The study proposes an effective methodology for integrating classical songs into the educational process. Taking into account pupils' age characteristics and stages of psychological development, it analyses the mechanisms of developing aesthetic taste and instilling feelings of patriotism and national pride through teaching them classical works. The article includes practical recommendations, innovative approaches and pedagogical technologies for making use of the educative potential of classical songs. The proposed methodology will serve as an important guide for teachers of general secondary schools and music schools in ensuring the spiritual and moral development of young people.
