Abstract

This article examines the role of the art of music in forming an aesthetic worldview, artistic taste and spiritual upbringing among school-age young people. It analyses the processes by which music shapes in the younger generation a sense of beauty, an understanding of artistic values and a spirit of respect for cultural heritage. The article also sets out ways of raising the effectiveness of music education in educational institutions and of deepening aesthetic upbringing through musical studies. The results of the study reveal the distinctive place of music in aesthetic development.
