HISTORY OF UZBEK NATIONAL STRING INSTRUMENT PERFORMANCE: INTEGRATION OF TRADITION AND MODERNITY

Abstract
The present study is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the historical formation and evolutionary development of performance on Uzbek national stringed instruments. The work examines the genesis of stringed instruments, their sociocultural functions and the transformation of performance traditions across historical periods. The results of the research show that performance on stringed instruments manifests itself as a synthesis of traditional musical thinking and contemporary performance practice. Alongside the preservation of national identity, this process also ensures integration with the global musical space.
