OPPORTUNITIES OF THE CREDIT-MODULE SYSTEM IN ORGANISING INDEPENDENT LEARNING FOR FUTURE MUSIC TEACHERS

Abstract

This article analyzes the role and importance of independent learning in the professional training of future music teachers. In the modern education system, the credit-module system is regarded as an important means of forming students' skills of independent knowledge acquisition. The article comprehensively elucidates the possibilities of this system in organizing independent learning in the field of music pedagogy. It is shown that the credit-module system creates broad conditions for students to adapt curricula, to construct individual learning trajectories, to determine the pace of their own progress and to develop creative and practical skills independently. The article also substantiates the role of the system in enhancing students' self-management, critical thinking and sense of responsibility, as well as its effectiveness in developing the pedagogical and performing mastery required in the future professional activity of music teachers. The article likewise includes methodological recommendations for introducing the credit-module system into the practice of music education.
