GOALS AND TASKS OF MUSIC EDUCATION

Abstract

Music education occupies an important place in the personal and aesthetic development of every individual. Music merits attention not only as a form of art but also as an effective means of the pedagogical process. Through music, learners not only acquire musical knowledge and skills, but their emotional and aesthetic taste is also formed, their capacity for creative thinking develops, and their personal thinking is enriched. Music education develops in learners the ability to experience emotions deeply, to perceive musical melody and rhythm correctly, and to recognize various genres and styles. At the same time, music education helps to shape children's culture, their place in society and their skills of communicating with society.
